This article assumes that you are already familiar with importing a newly certified property and what data points you need for an import.

'InProgress' establishments represent members who are in the process of attaining the certification. These members will not be shared with OTAs or included in any data collection.
Data points needed for importing 'InProgress' establishments
You will need to fill out your file with all the data points as required in a normal import.
To import an establishment with an 'InProgress' state, please prepare your Validation state data point in your file with 'InProgress' as pictured:

When you have your file ready for import, please follow the guide.
1. Go to Import --> Import Establishment Data and click "Select standard..."
2. Select "the certification you issue".
3. Select the group you are importing the establishment to and click "Next".
4. Click "Begin import"
5. Click "Drop files here or click to upload. CSV, XLSX or XLS files accepted" and select your file to import.
6. Make sure the columns in your file match the Template Fields and click "Next".
7. Scroll to check and verify your data.
8. Check to see if your validation state is correct.
9. Validation states to change to.
10. When you have verified your data you can "Submit".
11. Click "OK".
12. Refresh your browser, go to Groups and click "My Groups".
13. Click on the Group that you just imported your InProgress establishment to.
14. Click "Members" and then "Members overview"
15. Click Standard and select the standard.
16. Click Validation state and select In progress.
17. Here you will see all your InProgress establishments.
To open up the establishment click on the name of the establishment.
22. Click Certification Data and then click "See more".
If the Validation Status is Not Known = InProgress.
24. You can always export the profile, if you need to change the Validation State to Valid when you have the issued + expiration dates ready and the profile is now valid.
