If you manage multiple hotels on BeCause and want to showcase your sustainability data on, you need to attach your ID to each hotel profile. We understand that this can be a time-consuming process, so to save you time and effort, we offer to insert IDs for multiple hotels in one go. However, for us to be able to do so, we require some essential information from you to ensure that we can find the profiles of the hotels.

❗Before continuing, please ensure that your certifying body has successfully imported a valid certification for each property that needs its ID inserted.

What we need from you

If you are certain that a certifying body has successfully imported a valid certification to BeCause then you should simply provide an Excel file containing the following details for each hotel that needs a ID attached:

  • Hotel name

  • Street address

  • Zip code (Optional)

  • City (Optional)

  • Country code (Alpha-2 or Alpha-3)

  • Latitude & Longitude

  • ID

This is needed for us to find each hotel. The more information you provide, the higher the probability of a correct match. The Excel file should be structured as such:

How to submit your data:

  1. Create an Excel file with a separate row for each hotel, including the required information in the corresponding columns. You can also use our sample file as provided above.

  2. Ensure that all data is accurate and up-to-date.

  3. Send the Excel file to us via the support chat or email to [email protected]

What happens next:

  1. Our team will process the data you provided and match the hotels with their respective profiles on BeCause.

  2. We will attach the IDs to the matched profiles.

  3. You will receive confirmation once the process is complete, along with a report detailing if we weren't able to find some of the provided hotels.

❗ Please be aware that the processing time may vary depending on the volume of requests and the size of the data provided.
