The BeCause green credential validation functionality helps you to get your business’s sustainability-related certifications and commitments validated painlessly. We encourage companies to validate their sustainability documents to stop greenwashing and conveying false sustainability impressions 🚫.

Our green credential validation functionality can reinforce the status and recognition of your business by adding e-commerce advantages through enlarged marketing opportunities, such as websites, emails, newsletters, social media, and case studies.

Green credentials can be validated through our platform if your certifiers are on our platform. The documents that can be validated are sustainability-related certifications and commitments. It helps companies to grow into being recognized as responsible suppliers.

Please note that if your sustainability certifications/commitments certifier is not on BeCause, you can invite them to join BeCause or you will unfortunately not be able to validate your sustainability documents 😓.

However, certifiers can also decide not to validate particular sustainability documents if they think it is unnecessary ❗.

Navigate to Collect and select Certifications ⬇️.

Select Manage on your Certification page ⬇️.

It will then redirect you to the Certification Manager page ⬇️.

At the Received certifications, you will find your added certification list.
If you have not added your certification, please check out this guidance (certification list shown in the screenshot below) ⬇️.

Select your sustainability certificate dropdown icon on the right 🤜.
