Start the pre-screening from the profile
A pre-screening is linked to the accommodation's profile and a reporting year. It usually starts from an email invitation from the Green Key National Operator. For establishments already certified, it starts with a recertification pre-screening invitation.
Here's a step-by-step walkthrough of the Green Key pre-screening flow for an accommodation profile
If you have been invited by your Green Key National Operator for the pre-screening, please follow the next steps.
Go to the Certification area --> Applications
Accept the invitation by clicking: Accept
3. Now you can start your pre-screening
4. Once you answer the questions in the pre-screening, your answers will be automatically saved. This means that you do not have to answer everything on the same day, but you can close your computer and sign in again the next day to continue your saved work.
On the right side of your pre-screening box, you can always check your eligibility status and what certification scope your pre-screening determines, all based on your answers.
5. Once you are ready to submit, you can now see that your pre-screening is "Awaiting confirmation". This means that it is now with your Green Key National Operator, awaiting their approval. If you have any questions regarding the waiting time, we recommend you ask your Green Key National Operator directly.
6. If you need to cancel your pre-screening, you can always click the 3 dots on your pre-screening card to cancel. You can't cancel your pre-screening once you have submitted your pre-screening to your Green Key National Operator. But then you can ask your National Operator to "Reject" it if you need to cancel. Once rejected, you can cancel it.
Applying for certification without being invited
If you want to apply for the certification, you can click: Apply for certification
2. You will be presented with the certification name you will apply for. For Green Key, you can click: Start pre-screening
3. Then you can start your pre-screening.
